The Junior Entrepreneurs Club Training Program, Inc. (JECTP) offers a creative variety of experiences and training for At-Risk Youth and Young Adults (11 – 24) that prepares them for future academic, employment and business opportunities. Our classroom and counseling sessions coupled with hands-on work experiences assist participants in achieving personal, academic and career goals.
The Entrepreneurial Training Program offers structured training and practice of business skills through our certified curriculum. In order for anyone to become a successful business person, they must learn and practice business skills. Through creative thinking exercises participants learn about business ownership, management and operations.
Terry Pringle-Khalif
Executive Director
Terry Pringle-Khalif is the Executive Director of the Junior Entrepreneurs Club Training Program, Inc., a non-profit agency that encourages business ownership as an alternative to traditional employment. She has worked with over 800 Newark Youth to teach, develop and support their academic and entrepreneurial goals.
Before stepping out into entrepreneurship, Terry acquired years of experience in Corporate America including a stint as Director of Administrative Operations for HMO Blue. Over the years, she used those same corporate skills in community development as Appointee to the Newark Zoning Board of Adjustment, Governor’s Appointee to the Board of Commissioners for the Newark Housing Authority, elected Community Representative, Board Member for ALJIRA Art Gallery, The African American Heritage Parade Committee, The Newark Jazz Festival and many more, Since 2012, Terry has been the Owner/Operator of her own business, Terry Pringle-Khalif, Smart Money LLC.
